Life is sacred. Motherhood is sacred....even in the midst of difficult days. Most of our culture does not view motherhood as sacred, yet, God created it. So, if you're a mother, you've been called to this sacred journey.
One of my all-time favorite songs is called.....Sacred by Caedmon's Call. I call it my mommy song. Even when the laundry is piling, the dishes are stacking, the kids are whining, and I'm hanging on by a thread, I'm reminded that even these things, the menial and mundane tasks of motherhood, are indeed sacred. The pointed lyrics and fun, upbeat melody of this song reset my soul and point me back to the One who called me to do this task of Sacred Mommyhood!
