Joys of the Incarnation
"Most sensible people say that adults cannot be expected to appreciate Christmas as much as children appreciate it. But I am not sure that even sensible people are always right; and this has been my principle reason for deciding to be silly -- a decision that is now irrevocable. It may be because I am silly, but I rather think that, relatively to the rest of the year, I enjoy Christmas more than I did when I was a child. My faith demands that such be the case. The more mature I become the more I need to embrace the joys of the incarnation. The more mature I become, the more I need to be but a child".

HI,
ReplyDeleteI was just wondering how old you were?
Thanks,
April
Hi April,
ReplyDeleteI laughed when I read this question. Hopefully you're asking because I look SUPER young and you're dying to know my REAL age! ;-)
I just turned 35 in May!
Soli Deo Gloria!
Hi,
ReplyDeleteYes you do look young. "Your picture is very pretty. I will be turning 35 in april, I have 4 children. I would like to have another one. a girl preferred. I have an 9 year old daughter. My oldest son will be turning 11 soon. I have another boy who just turned 7 and a 3 year old boy. My husband turns 40 in may and thinks he is too old to have more children.
thanks for your time.
April
I love the quote! I've noticed the older I've gotten the sillier I am. Now, I have an excuse.
ReplyDeleteSee you soon Woman!
