Today is Chloe's 4th birthday! We had a fun family celebration! When we asked Chloe what her favorite meal was, she said "Ramen!" Well, Ramen just won't do for a birthday meal, so we made her second favorite......Fettuccine Alfredo!
After dinner, she had loads of fun opening up gifts!
A pretty dress from Gramie!
A dress fit for a princess!
Happy Birthday to you..........make a wish!
Chloe asked for a cake with lots of different colors, so I made her this Rainbow cake! She loved it......
Celeste played Happy Birthday for Chloe on the harp, which was pretty impressive considering she just began taking lessons!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY BIG GIRL!!! WE LOVE YOU!!!

So sweet! Happy Birthday Chloe! And, Candace, that cake is incredible!! I don't think I'm going to let Moira see it or I'll be forced to figure out how to make one for her birthday! ;o) I just love how sweet your family is, thanks for giving us a window into your lives!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday, Chloe! It looks like you had a great time. You are part of such a wonderful family. May God bless your 4th year. What a great age!!!!

Happy Birthday Chloe!!! I wish I could have been there to see her sweet smile. Candace you are going to have to teach me how you make your wonderful cakes...that was beautiful. Love you and hope to see you soon!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Chloe! You are my favorite Sabo who is 4!
ReplyDeleteAnd Candace, that is one impressive cake!
Chloe looks so happy!
Well....I guess my years spent at the Paris Culinary and Baking Institute paid off.
ReplyDeleteI'm SO kidding....I had ya fooled though, right?
Actually, the cake was EASY! I made it from a great book a friend recommended a while ago. Here's the link:
http://www.amazon.com/Bake-Make-Amazing-Cakes-Kids/dp/1550748483/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1222517979&sr=1-1
Although, I did the cake differently than suggested. Their version had candies, I think M&M's, to make the rainbow colors. I didn't want to do that so I made frosting and had LOTS of fun with food coloring, then just piped on the stars. SO much fun and VERY easy!
I'm sure you are doing wonderful on the harp! Remember elbows and thumbs UP!
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday Chloe!

ReplyDeleteBut wait, beards and sexy scruff are still having a moment with the ladies. Not looking to date a Mumford and Sons but I don't mind facial hair or scruff terribly, says Liz Polcha. Too wild and bushy is a no no though. That electrified fence confinement might be just the place for this so called ministerthe perfect place for HIM to live until HE dies! Why is he SO obsessed with this subject? It sounds like he has some very ggg shirt serious issues to deal withincluding a few personal unresolved issues I would imagine. I don't know what's worsehis hate or his sheer ignorance, attack on titan shirt but whatever it might be, he seems to be very proud of both. And how proud his town and the state of North Carolina must be, to have someone of lil uzi shirt his stature, of his compassion and respect for others, represent them and speak so "eloquently" in such a way that gives the rest of us an opportunity to, once again, use that old descriptive label: "just another stereotypical southern religious bigot"! Why IS this "label", this so called "badge of honor" so worshiped and so coveted? It's almost as if it's required by some unspoken law! How sadhow truly, truly sad.
